The successful candidate will teach introductory courses in cartography, geographic information systems, and human and physical geography. The successful candidate will also be expected to develop and teach advanced courses in one or more of the following areas: geovisualization and remote sensing; spatial databases; cartographic design; resource management; urban planning; disaster planning/homeland security; environmental security; open source GIS; web mapping or web-based GIS with mobile computing/location-based services.
